Bask Restaurant is a paddock-to-plate restaurant that opened in 2021 in Eumundi and quickly gained fame for its locally sourced seasonal cuisine and renowned “Long Lunches.” Within 18 months, Bask earned its first Chef’s Hat from the Australian Good Food Guide Awards in 2023.

Owners Jack Madden, “Chef”, and Jess Coolican “, Interior Designer”, have relocated to Peregian Beach. Jack and Jess combine their talents to express their love for family, design, food and the local community.
Bask offers an ever-changing menu beautifully executed to showcase the best of our region’s locally sourced seasonal produce. Alongside a curated wine and cocktail menu that changes frequently to reflect Jack’s crafted seasonal menu.
Here is a sample of the Bask’s seasonal menu: To tempt – House bread with almond cream, and seasonal oysters with apple cider mignonette.
To Taste – Confit venison saddle, pickled peach, hazelnuts and the Cherax Park Red Claw, orange clove butter, and aioli.
To Savour – Zaburton 9+ Grade Waygu, spring onion, duck fat roasted potato gratin and the lamb cutlets with Tasmanian pepper-berry, hung yoghurt,
and garden radish.
To Linger – Roasted pineapple, ginger marmalade, ginger nut crumb and eton mess with roasted fig, and tamarind butterscotch.

Bask is open for Lunch Wednesday to Sunday from 11.30 am to 3.30 pm and Dinner Wednesday to Saturday from 5 pm.
