Bird’s rotisserie cooks in the traditional way, with no electronics, just fire and Mangrove Charcoal which gives the chickens a smoky taste.

Bird sources free-range Elgin Valley chickens that roam free on acres of lush green pasture, fresh from the foothills of the Glasshouse Mountains.

The chickens are then tenderly rubbed with a unique gluten-free blend of herbs and spices, that creates irresistible flavours that produce a tender, and juicy roasted chicken.

Complimented by chat potatoes baked in the rotisserie and Bird’s special gravy from the chicken drippings. Artisan sourdough baguettes made in-house and Bird’s French smoked butter, oh my.

Peter and Chrissie’s focus will always be quality, which keeps Bird’s menu deliciously uncomplicated, locally sourced, and always fresh.

On the menu: Bird for Two or The Big Bird Dinner Boxes with oven-roasted potatoes, salad, baguettes, and homemade gravy.

Or buy a charcoal chicken and choose any of these delicious sides: Crispy roasted potatoes, house-made gravy, and French smoked butter.

A variety of seasonal salads like Caesar, potato salad, coleslaw, and roasted vegetables.

On the lunch menu: Home-style soups, hot charcoal chicken and gravy rolls, a variety of freshly made chicken baguettes, and their classic finger sandwiches, who could resist?

Also, a selection of Bird’s Baguette combinations: Chicken, smokey BBQ sauce and coleslaw with Bird’s famous lime dressing. The Loretta, roast chicken, a house-baked bun, gravy, and crispy chicken skin topping.
