Embassy XO is a multi-award-winning Modern Asian Restaurant and Wine Bar in Sunshine Beach. Located upstairs on the popular restaurant and cafe strip on Duke Street, just a 2-minute stroll from one of the most stunning beaches on the Sunshine Coast.

Recently renovated Embassy XO oozes sophistication and style, exotic modern décor, vibrant furnishings, and a stunning mural by artists Loretta Lizzio and Cam Scale, creating a new, fresh, oriental ambience.

Executive Chef James Wu offers an impressive menu featuring locally sourced seasonal produce. Officially awarded the Snail of Approval accreditation and very proud to be part of the Slow Food Noosa network.

The cuisine weaves its way through China and Southeast Asia’s provinces, balancing flavours, textures, and exciting spices, delicately fusing modern Asian and Chinese fine dining.

Embassy XO has been awarded One Chefs Hat from the Australian Good Food Guide Award for five consecutive years.

Embassy’s menu offers several banquet options incorporating a selection of small and larger plates, sides, and desserts, offering many vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Diners can experience a 5-course set menu with optional wine pairing and a vegetarian option. Or by ordering individual dishes from the a la carte menu, where plates are designed to be shared.

For small plates, try the sashimi ocean trout with citrus soy relish and mung bean noodles or the sizzling duck hot pot with Noosa red tomatoes, sweet soy and Thai basil.

Larger plates, master stock, braised duck leg with tropical fruits, coconut and turmeric curry or the sizzling grass-fed fillet steak with green beans, pepper and XO sauce. Thinking dessert, chocolate bao, vanilla ice cream, fresh summer berries or the trio of sorbets for something light.

Embassy XO Wine Bar showcases an award-winning and expertly curated wine list. It has been awarded two glasses in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards for the seventh consecutive year.

In the summer, relax in the wine bar with a cocktail and soak up the beachy vibe on the balcony. In Winter, the fireplace creates a warm, intimate space to unwind and watch the day go by with a glass of champagne or wine.

Embassy’s dining room is an ideal space for a stylish event, special occasion or function. A menu can be created to suit any occasion, whether a cocktail event or sit-down dinner, in either a banquet or Yum-Cha style.

Embassy offers some of the country’s best wines; all are available for purchase at the independently owned boutique bottle shops XO Cellars. One in Noosa Heads and one directly underneath the restaurant where you can stock up on your favourite tipple to enjoy at home.

Open Tuesday to Saturday from 3 pm and lunch Friday to Saturday from 12 noon.
