Herbert Noosa is an exciting vegetarian and vegan restaurant offering conscious plant-centric food utilizing local and foraged ingredients.
Herbert’s bar is sleek in design and has an excellent range of next-level cocktails and an eclectic wine list that perfectly complements the food. The drinks menu incorporates each season, featuring local ingredients as much as possible.
Co-owners Leon Johnston and Alex Mckechnie designed the restaurant interior with plenty of green foliage to brighten the space, light timber tables and chairs and comfy lounge seating on the exterior walls. It is a warm, welcoming atmosphere where you can dine at the bar and watch Alex craft exquisite cocktails.
Herbert has a range of in-house-made sodas that are super delicious and with exciting flavours, like the Herbert Tonic and Herbert Amaro, a fragrant bitter liqueur perfect as an aperitivo or digestive.

Try the Froth Gobbler – Nusa Cana Spiced Rum, molasses syrup, citrus, bitters, Porter ale foam and nutmeg. Or the refreshing Campbell in the Bahamas – Tromba Blanco Tequila, citrus, butterscotch, ginger, and turmeric.
Another favourite is the Dr Green Thumb – Manly Spirits Dry Gin, basil, kafir, lemon, Chartreuse and basil oil. Alex describes this drink as tasting like standing in the middle of a forest in springtime; it’s super fresh, complex and uplifting.
At the night’s end, sit back and relax with Herbert’s cheese board, native fig jam and crackers paired with a glass of wine or cocktail. Herbert Noosa offers exceptional food matched with show-stopping drinks and excellent service.
Opening Hours: Breakfast – Wednesday to Sunday, 7.30 am to 11.30 am. Dinner – Wednesday to Monday from 5 pm and closed on Tuesday.
