The restaurant is beautifully fitted out with elegant decor that’s intimate and refined, matched with balmy sea breezes and a laid-back ambience.
Lanai has an extensive global wine menu, expertly blended cocktails, top-shelf spirits and local beers on tap. Our favourites cocktails are the Passionfruit Negroni РSeabourne Coastal Dry Gin, Sunset Bitter, Amaro, Passionfruit or the After Dinner Mint РSlide Cold Brew Coffee, Noosa Vodka, Cr̬me de Menthe Blend, White Cacao.
Lanai is owned by the dynamic couple Ryan and Rashi Fitzpatrick, who founded The Ohana Group, offering off-site event catering, wedding and event styling and floristry, personal chef and private dining experiences.
Chefs Ryan Fitzpatrick and Elwyn Watkin focus on sustainable seafood, native ingredients, local produce and crafted artisan products, creating delicious and unique share-style dining.
From the menu, let’s start with Natural Oysters topped with rhubarb, Davidson plum, whipped tofu, prawn oil and Potato Hash, with smoked tuna cream, chives, and salmon pearls.
Small Plates – Ora King Salmon, golden beets, radish and burnt onion and the WA Octopus, yoghurt thoum, Noosa Reds, pickled fennel, parsley.
Larger Plates – Market Fish with cauliflower, verde, fennel, nori butter and 8+ Wagyu Petite Shoulder, Agedashi leeks, onion puree, and mustard greens.With sides of potato hash and warm winter greens with roasted nori butter.
For desserts, who could resist the Donuts with Davidson plum, cinnamon myrtle custard, and macadamia praline or the warm Chocolate and Date Pudding with chantilly, pretzel and butterscotch.
