Mr Jones & Me Restaurant all started with a song…

It was in Port Douglas, ‘where Mr Jones’, by the Counting Crows, was playing in a bar, and Paul found himself staring at this yellow-haired girl named Ferne. That song was theirs forever, a love story 20 years ago.

Mr Jones & Me Restaurant has a casual yet sophisticated atmosphere, a modern design to relax day or night, and is fully licensed with indoor and courtyard dining.

Mr Jones & Me Restaurant’s menu is designed around classic Australian bistro food with a modern twist. Sourcing the freshest local ingredients, offering a range of share plates, burgers, salads and bistro favourites.

Try their delicious duck pancakes, braised duck, cucumber, carrot, spring onion and hoisin sauce or the chorizo and Barossa Valley halloumi skewers, pesto, zucchini and dill, and mint salad.

For main, 200g GM char-grilled 100-day grain-fed eye fillet, mushroom duxelle, carrot puree, potato gratin, greens, mustard creme fraiche and jus.

The seafood linguini with fresh clams, mussels, prawns, fish and calamari tossed in chilli, garlic and parsley. Or the char-grilled pork chop, cauliflower leek cake, roast pumpkin, greens and cider cream sauce.

Dessert, the slice of summer, honeycomb ice cream between layers of meringue and berry coulis. Or order a dessert cocktail like the chai latte martini, spiced rum, butterscotch schnapps, chai latte syrup, shaken with cream and topped with cinnamon.

Mr Jones & Me Restaurant offers a lovely space that can easily accommodate small and large groups for your next special occasion, whether looking for a sit-down dinner or cocktail party.

Dining at Mr Jones & Me Restaurant is the perfect way for Paul and Ferne to share their passion for food. Open Tuesday to Saturday, lunch from noon and dinner from 5 pm.
