Inspired by our amazing local produce Outer Square prides itself on personal service, exceptional coffee, and the ability to push culinary boundaries through creativity and innovation.
At night Outer Square morphs into an intimate restaurant and bar with a great range of cocktails, Australian and international wine and a menu featuring Middle Eastern flavours.
Let’s start with cocktails, the Firefly, vanilla vodka, paraiso, passoa, cranberry, and lime or Spiced Mule, whiskey, honey sugar syrup, lime, chilli, and ginger beer.
Outer Square’s executive chef is passionate about local seasonal produce and creating menus with exciting flavours.
Our menu highlights; Small plates, scallop tarts, taramasalata, wakeme, and flying fish roe and chicken, almond croquettes, saffron aioli and chives.
Medium plates: Spencer Gulf kingfish ceviche, squid ink tapioca cracker, avocado, green chilli, coriander mayo and lime or BBQ Mooloolaba prawns, garlic, chilli, tomato, rocket oil and grilled sourdough.
Larger plates: Organic potato gnocchi, brown butter, pesto, broccolini, zucchini, pecorino, hazelnuts, and lemon or Confit Game Farm duck, sweet potato, grilled bok choy, spiced peaches and jus.
Order delicious sides of duck fat potatoes, roasted thyme, confit garlic and herb creme fraiche and the classic fattoush salad.
For dessert, chocolate Turkish pistachio mousse, poached rhubarb and strawberries and Middle Eastern almond rosewater syrup cake with lemon curd ice cream.
