Chef and Co-Owner Stuart Webster is classically trained in England and has worked in restaurants and manors in France. Stuart has designed a seasonal menu that showcases fresh local produce and flavours from around the world.
The crisp tempura Moreton Bay bug tails with Siracha mayo, fennel, mint and pomegranate salad is light and refreshing. Or try the five-spice crispy duck leg mandarin pancakes with hoisin, shallot and pickled cucumber.
For main, flaked seared salmon, confit garlic gnocchi, horseradish cream, topped with tarragon and walnut pesto. Or the tender Black Angus eye fillet, tempura potato stack, toffee onions, tomato and olive butter.
If there is room for dessert, try the classic sticky toffee pudding with burnt caramel ice cream or the rich, creamy chocolate and Cointreau mousse with caramelised orange and sweet candied zest.
Rock Salt Noosa is fully licenced and offers a well-balanced wine list showcasing Australian wine varieties with a few Italian and French wines on the menu.
Rock Salt can cater for any special occasion, wedding, or function, from 60 guests seated to 80 guests for a cocktail-style event. Menus are tailored from a la carte options, shared tapas-style and stand-up canapé menus.
