Trattoria Benati is a new Italian restaurant in The Pavilion, Noosa Junction, a sophisticated and modern selection of boutique retail stores, cafes and restaurants.

Owner and Chef Davide Benati grew up in Modena, Italy and spent most of his time in the family restaurant perfecting recipes that showcase simple, fresh food.
Davide has worked in some of the world’s most famous restaurants, including the 3-star Michelin-rated Florentine Enoteca Pinchiorri, Italy, Il Lago, Baulkham Hills, and Noosa’s famous Lindoni’s restaurant.
Davide prides himself on using fresh, local ingredients to create authentic Italian cuisine from old family recipes. Trattoria Benati’s menu showcases a mix of rich Modena flavours and the lighter, seafood-based cuisine of Tuscany.
Start with Wagyu beef carpaccio, truffle mascarpone and pomegranate or the Moreton Bay bugs gratin with creme fraiche and celery.
For pasta lovers, potato gnocchi with creamy gorgonzola, walnuts and radicchio or the cannelloni filled with lamb shoulder and ricotta baked with a herb crumb.
Equally tasty is the line-caught snapper fillet with potato tart and cherry tomato confit or the tender pork belly with cauliflower, leek and apple.
On the sides, enjoy a Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella, Noosa Red tomato and basil emulsion or Erbazzone – silver beet and pancetta pie.
Finish the night with the cherry and vanilla panna cotta topped with walnut crumble. Or the Cremino-Gianduia chocolate mousse with fresh mint and grapefruit.
On the menu, you’ll also find the classic Tiramisu, Gelato, almond biscotti and an assortment of cheese. There are also gluten-free and vegan options, daily specials and a fantastic kids menu.

Trattoria Benati is open for lunch from 11 am Wednesday to Saturday and dinner from 5 pm Monday to Saturday.
